They called me Grace!
Grace was an amazing woman,
She must have been!
She made my mother.
Grace is no longer with us,

My mother calls me mother.
My mother’s sisters call me mother.
Grace is my name,
They called me Grace.
We lost Grace,
We mourned Grace,
We lost Grace, all grace was lost.

I found Grace,
Grace flows within me,
Grace lives within me.
By God’s Grace I found Grace.
May Grace prevail,
In the good and the bad times,
May they call me a graceful woman.
I pray that God’s Grace may follow me all the days of my life,
so that I may dwell in the House of the Lord forever!
